i live for 'golden age' black gospel. over the years i've worked my way backwards from 70's funk, to 60's soul, then 50's r&b. for the last few years i can't get enough of this holy stuff!
i really dig the backing band on this cut- they add a wonderful foundation to the quartet's great vocal arrangements.

I agree about the band. In particular, I think the organ part makes the song.
